This project demonstrates the creation of a procedurally generated printed circuit board (PCB) system, entirely built using Houdini. The goal was to design a system capable of automatically generating any desired PCB with dynamic flow simulations. This was part of the work done for the Hungarian film "Az Úr Hangja", produced by Front VFX.

Key technical elements:

  • Procedural Modeling: The PCB geometry was procedurally generated, enabling rapid and flexible modification for various designs.

  • Flow Simulation: The behavior of electrical flows within the generated circuit was modeled using FLIP fluid simulations, ensuring realistic interactions and fluid dynamics.

  • Automated System: The system was designed to automatically generate the desired PCB and its associated functionality, minimizing manual intervention.
